Hi I'm Luke and I'm brown and sweet, just like a buterscotch hard candy ;). One time my majority Asian tennis team placed bets on what part of Asia I was from just to find out that I am actually Mexican. Also another time President Folt came to my dorm and took photos with all of the other minority students expect for me. I presume they thought I wasn't diverse enough but I think my high school tennis team would beg to differ.Valerie Wang

Hi I'm Val and the only reason why I am second on this section is because Luke is a boy and is therefore preferred by web-based design. In middleschool I made a whole rap and performed it under my stage name "Ming". The rap was about asian things and noodles. Oh, did I mention? I also performed it in an asian accent. My school then went on to call me Ming as a nickname casually (may have been racist out of context but I bathed in the attention) and I became a frequent guest performer on our middle school television broadcast, rapping about everything from school dances to internalized racism!
